As part of our ongoing dedication to ensuring that we deliver, end-to-end, the best solution for every customer, we have developed an integrated and proven management system we call the Right Steps Process.
The Right Steps Process guides us in ensuring that the solutions we provide are the best fit for the customer, the environment, the community we works in, and our team members.
- First Step (Assessment):
Our team works with you to assess the proposed project’s needs. We identify the value stream for both parties, documenting and highlighting your goals and needs, and working back from to pinpoint how we will meet them with the best possible combination of products, services, or both.
- Next Step (Solutions):
From the joint assessment we then define and roadmap the possible solutions to your needs and goals. CMS can source, manufacture, and clean the products we supply, install, and remove from each project. Our solutions may come from within the CMS family or from our trusted partners.
- Integrated Quality, Environment, and Health & Safety Program:
Before the start of any relationship with a customer, our established Integrated Management System (IMS) has already began to guide the relationship and project.
- QA/QC Program:
CMS adheres to the globally recognised ISO 9001 Quality Management System for both quality assurance and quality control. We are continuously removing inefficiencies to providing the best quality, manufacturing, and supply of products and services. Even incremental improvements are valuable to us and our clients.
- Environmental Program:
CMS adheres to the globally recognized ISO 14001 Environmental Management System to ensure all of our products and services perform to meet all regulatory and common sense environmental requirements.
- Safety Program:
CMS practices a Safety First, Safety Always standard recognized by OHSAS 18001. We possess Alberta COR Certification, and meet compliance with ISNetWorld, ComplyWOrks, and PICS benchmarks.
- Local Impact:
CMS has an ongoing program to identify and provide local benefits to the communities we supply and serve based on aboriginal partnerships, community partnerships, and government guidelines.
- Ongoing Steps (Re-Assessment):
Continuously throughout the customer relationship we re-assess our solutions and processes at key intervals to ensure that we are always meeting the expectations of our customers and partners.
- Stepping Forward:
Each and every step through our process leads to small continuous adjustments to ensure we me meet, and improve on, the needs and expectation of all our stakeholders - including our customers, the communities we serve or hope to serve, our team members and the global environment.
